Abstract
These materials, about and by Dr. Thomas A. Manion, fifth president of St. Norbert College from 1983 to 2000, contain a fair amount of biographical items; a goodly section of the Founder's Day/Inauguration Ceremony of October 21, 1983 including the inaugural speech of Dr. Manion and reply of Abbot Benjamin Mackin, O. Praem., and the homily at the Mass by Bishop Hubbard; a few speeches given by Dr. Manion while president; several copies of The President's Letter, a sometime publication addressed to the College community; a few Christmas and Open House Programs; and some photographs.
News releases from the St. Norbert Publication Office are in a separate collection in the College Archives, referring to events in the term of office of Dr. Manion.
