This collection of Dennis Maurice Burke's materials contains some excellent biographical articles; information of him as both St. Norbert College and St. Norbert Abbey faculty member; descriptions of his European trip of 1947 and Nigerian trip of 1965; a small number of black-and-white photographs; some correspondence; his publications; a large number of newspaper clippings of his election as second president of St. Norbert College; records of the Green Bay-De Pere Citizens Committee, the Board of Administration, the Board of Governors, and the Board of Trustees under his presidency from 1955 to 1968; items about his appointment as Chancellor of the College in 1968; items on his election to the Board of Trustees of the College in 1971; newspaper articles, notes, and an extensive photograph album on the naming of the Dennis M. Burke Hall at St. Norbert College in 1979; items on his ordination to the priesthood and his 25th and 50th jubilees as a member of the Norbertine Order; articles on his family reunion at the College in 1985; and awards granted to Father Burke.
