Abstract

The register of the Todd Wehr Library contains brochures of four library dedications used as examples for the Todd Wehr Library dedication. Local, state, and college news releases on the planning and dedication of this building are included. The register includes copies of the invitations, the invocation speech, the dedication program, and the blessing program for the building. An interview on tape and the paper copy of the speech of Dr. Edward G. Holley, main speaker for the dedication, are included. Two guest books with signatures are part of the register. A special dedication folder compiled by the office of Vice President for Development, under John G. McNamara, contains sections on planning, banquet, invitations, donor's dinner, plaques, photo mailing, and press releases of the event. The Report of the President 1978, by then president Dr. Neil J. Webb, highlights the remodeled building. A folder containing photographs and slides is also part of this register. An historical note at the beginning of the register shows the history of libraries at St. Norbert College. Additional newspaper articles and photographs are in the Archives newspaper and photograph collections.
