Biography

Linda Beane-Boose has a career in higher education spanning more than 23 years, including 15 years of leadership in academic affairs positions. She has served as director of faculty development, founding director of academic service-learning, and founding director of language services for the Center for International Education at St. Norbert College and the Dean of Humanities for Spokane Falls Community College. Her expertise encompasses faculty development and mentorship, pedagogical innovation, enhancing institutional mission, accreditation, and administration. She has designed and led a wide range of program types, from small group workshops and learning communities to multi-day institution-wide conferences. She has also published and presented in the areas of the French 19th and 20th century novel, Francophone literature, feminist theory and second language acquisition.
