Biography

Bill Bohne attended the University of Dayton and the School of the Dayton Art Institute, where he earned a B. F. A. in 1963 and Ohio University, where he completed an M. F. A. in 1965. He began at St. Norbert in September of 1965. Of his work, he noted: "My teaching and the creation of my artwork are preoccupied with vision. The various processes of seeing, learning to look, imagining, direct sustained observation, and discovery are seminal to the making of art. Likewise, exposure to a variety of mediums, concepts as well as historical works are utilized to stimulate problem solving and technical acumen. Similarly, the sensorium is utilized to encourage the development and cultivation of a personal aesthetic."
