Biography

Joseph Tullbane was appointed to his position at the College in August 1999. Prior to his entry into academia, Dr. Tullbane worked in the private sector as an analyst consultant on Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European politics, economics and security issues. He gained his regional expertise during a military career that spanned 23 years, including postings to Moscow (temporary duty) and Madrid (five years as the military attaché). He has lived in both Europe and Asia, and traveled extensively through Eurasia, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Dr. Tullbane also served on the Boards of Directors of two international secondary schools and founded a national professional association of regional specialists.
