Biography

Elizabeth King joined the St. Norbert faculty as a professor of political science in 1973. She received both her master's and doctoral degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1989, Dr. King became Chair of the Division of Social Sciences and continued in that position until becoming Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in 1995. During her tenure, she was directly involved in the development of the International Studies and Environmental... Policy interdisciplinary majors and assisted in the development of such academic grant global studies, the Lilly grant for cultural diversity, and the Fulbright Visiting Scholar grant. Dr. King also served on numerous committees at St. Nobert College, and participated in civic and political organizations at the local, state, and national levels. In 2008, Elizabeth King was awarded Professor Emeritus at St. Norbert College.
