Biography
Nathaniel "Nat" H. Lebish, Lt. Col, Ret., had a tremendously varied life starting at the age of 18 when he entered into the U.S. Army Air Corps to fulfill his life ambition to become a pilot. He more than achieved this dream by "learning to fly before he could drive a car" and had a 25-year career in the U.S. Air Force retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 1970. During that time he served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, flying B-24 Liberator Bombers, B-47 Stratojets and B-52's. He also served during the "Cold War" flying numerous missions with loaded missiles in protection of our country. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his honorary service during the Korean War. Nat's second career was long and successful as a Professor of Accounting at St. Norbert College in DePere, WI. During this second 25-year career he was the original founder of the International Business and Language Studies (IBLAS) program and developed St. Norbert's Flight Training Program, where he had the privilege of teaching several of the other professors there to fly. He had a love of teaching and was respected and admired by his students. He retired from St. Norbert in 1995. Source: http://funeralinnovations.com/obituaries/view/72292/1
