Biographical / Historical

William Reynders joined the business administration faculty at St. Norbert College in 1967. Prior to this, he taught at Northwestern University, as Assistant Professor of Naval Science, and Wittenberg University. Reynders was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1947. He also studied at University of Dayton, Cincinnati University, and received his MBA from Stanford University in 1959. Working primarily in the field of logistics throughout a 20-year Naval career, the retired U.S. Navy Commander dealt with industries throughout the U.S. and in nearly every country in the world. He also served as a logistics officer on the staff of the Pacific Fleet, spent several years as a fiscal officer for the Navy, and was on the Naval ROTC faculty of Northwestern University. Reynders served on various faculty committees at St. Norbert and was named Outstanding Teacher in 1976. In 1987, he was named Professor Emeritus.
